Internet Banking services with Islanders Bank is an easy and convenient way to
access your banking accounts without going to the bank. Islanders Bank Internet
banking is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using your
personal computer.
What Can I do with Internet Banking?
You can access your checking, savings, debit cards, line of credit, certificate of
deposits, or loans to verify balances, transfer money between accounts*, and
export data to your personal financial software**.

Are the account balances that are shown on-line the same as my account
balances at the bank?
Islanders Bank uses "real time" data for your account balance information. This means
that the account balance reflected through Internet Banking is exactly the same balance
shown at the bank. If you make a deposit, cash a check or use your debit card, that
transaction will be reflected on-line immediately.
What does Internet Banking cost?
Personal Internet banking is free to our customers! On-line Bill Payment services are
available for a nominal monthly charge.
Is Internet Banking confidential and secure?
YES! Islanders Bank and our provider have incorporated the latest security into our
Internet Banking system to ensure both privacy and security. We require passwords,
data encryption and multi-factor authentication.
What is data encryption?
Encryption is a secure process for keeping your sensitive and confidential information
private. It is a process by which bits of data are mathematically jumbled with a
password-key. The Encryption process makes the data unreadable unless or until decrypted.
What is a mulitfactor authentication?
This is combining two or more authentication techniques together to form a stronger or more
reliable level of authentication. This usually involves combining two or more of the following
types: Secret - something the person knows Token - something the person has
Biometric - something the person is (e.g. finger print, eyeball scan).
What other steps can I take to protect myself?
Your Internet Banking user ID and password are one of the most important security features
for Internet Banking. Because you control the selection and how often you change your
password, you can help prevent unauthorized online access to your accounts.

What equipment do I need for Internet Banking?
To access Internet Banking you need Internet access and an Internet browser with a version
of 5.5 or higher. For optimum results we recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0.
Does Internet Banking work with Quicken & Microsoft Money?
Yes, it does. Data can be downloaded to a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or
to personal financial management software such as Quicken or Microsoft Money in a
.qif file format.
